Kings and Sequoia Canyons

The first week of our adventure has vanished in the blink of an eye. Kings and Sequoia Canyons was the perfect spot to unwind. We rode our bikes, hiked trails, gazed in awe at Kings River far below in the canyon, sat on river rocks day dreaming, took photos of the majestic sequoia trees and got to spend more time in the snow.
Best of all we had our first encounter with a BEAR at the General Sherman Tree. It was heading towards us on the Old Lodgepole Trail and then lumbered down the hill only 30 yards away. AWESOME.
